This module provides an overview of the structure and function of the pelvic floor. You will also have an opportunity to connect to your body and begin to practice some ways to change your experience of pain including - mapping your pain, breath work, pelvic movement, stretching/mobilization, and manual work (hands on work) over the pelvic floor muscles.

Who is this course for?

This course presents an incredible opportunity for women experiencing painful sex to understand the underlying reasons they have pain and to learn proven tools to get rid of the pain.  It is also for those who want to move beyond pain and experience the pleasure and deep satisfaction that sex can bring.  

Can my partner do this course with me?

100%  You will get a lot out of this course if you complete it on your own.  You will get EVEN MORE out of this course if you complete it with your partner.  

Consider blocking off 1-2 hours per week in your calendars to go through this together.  Then take some time to discuss or practice what you just learned.  Sexual pain is not one sided and it's not something you have to "fix" by yourself.  You're in this together, so we invite you to collaborate and have grace, patience, and love as you seek to overcome painful sex. 

What type of sex or sexuality is covered?

There are many expressions of sex and sexuality, so we want to offer some clarity around the specific type of sexual expression that we will be focusing on in this course.  The content is geared towards women (biological females) who are in committed relationships with one man (biological males).  It also discusses sexual pain from the viewpoint of penile/vaginal penetrative intercourse.  Lastly, we want to mention that in the course, you will be hearing language referring to "she, her, woman, him, his, and partner." 

How long do I have access to the course material?

We know that sexual healing can take time, and we don't want you to feel rushed as you embark on this journey. So you will have unlimited time to access this course so long as you keep your account open.  

However, we do encourage you to set some goals and parameters for yourself as you work with through the material. Have a self-imposed deadline to get through the course will help keep you accountable and moving forward.
